RAIN

SUMMARY

Rain is a total goth, enjoys anything that deals with the occult, and is secretly a witch. You are hooking up with Andy, who you don’t even like, as part of a revenge plan against your ex best friend, and Senior Class President, Shawn.

HISTORY WITH SHAWN

Your name used to be Sean, and Shawn was your best friend in middle school. You called yourselves “Sean Squared” and did practically everything together. During one of your sleepovers, Shawn asked you to do a seance with them. It worked better than either of you expected and Shawn became possessed by someone calling themselves “Puck.”

Puck said they were a high school student from the past, and a woodland sprite, currently trapped inside something called the Hell Chasm. The two of you totally hit it off, so you asked Shawn to continue channeling Puck over and over again. After a while, Shawn got jealous, stopped channeling Puck, and started wearing some sort of magic cross that severed the connection. You and Shawn had a big fight about it and have been enemies ever since.

PUCK & RAIN’S REVENGE PLAN

Puck said that, back in 1692, they had cursed the Salmon Cup so that anyone who drinks from it will get super drunk. Goody Stratford, the most popular (and annoying) kid in Oceanside at the time, did exactly that and made a complete fool of herself. Goody accused Puck of witchcraft and Puck was imprisoned in the Hell Chasm as punishment.

To open the Hell Chasm, Puck said you needed to, “stab the heart of a lover with the cross of an enemy.” That’s why you seduced Andy this summer. You plan to open the Hell Chasm by stabbing Andy with Shawn’s. But, Shawn’s cross has some sort of magical enchantment on it, so you have never been able to steal it. That is, until now!

You’ve been practicing and studying witchcraft for many years and believe that you have finally figured out a way to steal Shawn’s cross! At Andy’s party, you plan to humiliate Shawn by exposing Andy as a cheater. Then, you’ll acquire a few soul fragments to gain the power you need to steal Shawn’s cross. And finally, at the end of the night, you’ll stab Andy in the heart, open the Hell Chasm and frame Shawn for the murder!

BEFORE THE PARTY

Contact Shawn. Tell them you have put your past disagreements behind you and that you wish them all the best. Be cheery and upbeat, and maybe a little bit sinister. Say something like, “Hey Shawn, I just want you to know that I have put all that stuff in our past behind me. I hope we have a great senior year together. Good luck at winning Homecoming Couple of the Year!” 

If Robin contacts you, tell them you will be at the party, but that you think everyone there is boring, especially the popular kids (Robin is an emo kid you have seen around school this year, but never really talked to).
