Parker Craft is an English exchange student and former child star famous for playing the voice of Gizmo TI-83 in the British TV show The Adventures of Dr. Quantum and Gizmo TI-83, a prequel to the very popular Soul Wars film trilogy. You quit acting after a very public scandal involving your mother and her involvement in the Soul Crafters Cult.
Eager for a fresh start, Parker enrolled in the exchange student program at Oceanside High School and you’ll be meeting all your new classmates for the first time at Andy’s party. You know that Americans love celebrity, which is great news, because you have zero personality outside of the fact that you were once famous and you speak with a charming British accent. Let’s just hope none of your new classmates read the British tabloids!
AUTHOR’S NOTE: Parker is an incredibly talented voice actor and has the ability to speak with a perfect American accent. At Andy’s party, you can switch in and out of your American accent and your British accent. In general, you should only speak in your British accent when you think people will find it charming.
“The Adventures of Dr. Quantum and Gizmo TI-83” was a very popular British TV show about an inter-dimensional time-traveling space-witch named Dr. Quantum, and their plucky robot sidekick, Gizmo TI-83 (you played the voice of Gizmo).
Dr. Quantum is trying to brew The Elixir of Life, a magic potion that will grant them eternal life. But, the elixir also has the power to turn a robot into a human. The main tension of the series is Gizmo’s growing fascination with humanity, its obsession to become a human, and Dr. Quantum’s continual dismissal of both things. At the end of each episode, Gizmo would deliver one of its many, now iconic, lines like “Beep. Bop. Boop. Dr. Quantum, do I have dreams?” To which Dr. Quantum would always reply, “Quit bugging out Gizmo, let’s just talk about our next adventure.”
The show, “The Adventures of Dr. Quantum and Gizmo TI-83,” spawned both a cult-like following and an actual cult, The Soul Crafters, who believe the events depicted in Soul Wars are real. Your mother, Dr. Lauren Craft, is their leader.
Her founding and continued involvement with the Soul Crafters was covered extensively in the British tabloids and made it very hard for you to advance your career. You blame your mother for everything wrong with your life, including your drinking and drug addiction.
Contact Ryan. You heard a rumor that Ryan is organizing some sort of talent show? This could be your chance to get back into acting! Let them know you are a famous actor from London and that you should be the headliner for the talent show.
If Andy Smyth contacts you, tell them whatever you think they need to hear for them to go away. They seem uncool.
