For Max's eyes only!
If you are not playing Max...

Max is secretly a centuries-old vampire, currently posing as a senior and co-captain of the sailing team at North Shore County High School. You and your best friend, Peyton (also a vampire), were ordered by the Vampiric Council to guard the entrance to the Hell Chasm and prevent anyone from opening it. This summer, you caught the band director from Oceanside High snooping around and tossed him into the Hell Chasm as punishment.
Every year, the Oceanside Wolves take on the North Shore County Bats in a sailing competition known as the Salmon Bay Homecoming Regatta. Students from each school compete in various races over the course of the weekend, with the final race being between the co-captains of each school. The winner of that race wins the Salmon Cup.
You believe that vampires, and magical beings in general, are far superior to humans. As such, you are very much looking forward to beating the arrogant, loud, and annoying human children of Oceanside in this year’s regatta. Plus, if you remember correctly, blood just tastes better when you drink it from the Salmon Cup.
The Vampiric Council is the sole governing body for all vampires and is composed of the world’s oldest and most powerful vampires. Per council policy, you and Peyton are currently serving your once-a-century guard duty rotation, where you guard the entrance to the Hell Chasm for four years. The Hell Chasm is a pocket universe created by the Vampiric Council to imprison anyone that disobeys their orders or disrupts the status quo.
For example, during your first stint as a Hell Chasm guard, The Council imprisoned a shapeshifting woodland sprite named Puck because they blamed Puck for inciting the Oceanside Witch Trials of 1692, which, The Vampiric Council claims, brought too much attention to the magical world and cost a number of vampires their lives. You believe Puck was wrongfully imprisoned and that the humans should have been the ones punished instead.
Mr. Opus, the music teacher and band director at Oceanside High School, has long been a person of interest to the Vampiric Council as he is both a werewolf and suspected of being a Vampire Hunter. This summer, you found him at the entrance to the Hell Chasm, located deep within the caves underneath the County Line Bridge. He was trying to decipher the ancient runes that describe how the Hell Chasm can be opened. As per Vampiric Council policy, you and Peyton beat the crap out of him and imprisoned him in the Hell Chasm.
You were summoned to the Vampiric Council and briefed them on the incident. They told you to continue your guard duty and to “lay low,” as the missing persons investigation plays out.
NOTE: For Andy’s party, dress like a vampire. Max believes the Vampiric Council is too timid and that vampires should not be forced to hide their identity.
Contact Carter. Carter is one of the co-captains of the Oceanside High School Sailing Team. Last year, you crashed your boat into theirs and Carter almost drowned. Make fun of Carter for being weak and almost dying. Say something like, “Hey, remember when we almost killed you last year? You humans are so weak and you are such a loser!”
Contact Peyton. Send Peyton a note explaining what happened at the council and tell them you will see them at Andy’s party. Say something like, “I gave my report to the Vampiric Council. Everything is okay, but they seem more worried about us covering our tracks than investigating why Mr. Opus was snooping around the Hell Chasm in the first place. I’m getting sick of these dusty old bats cowering in their underground fortresses and forcing the rest of us to hide in the shadows. Anyway, see you at the party, let’s make fun of everyone from Oceanside!”
