SUMMARY

Alex Stratford used to be a total band nerd and was not very popular. But, when you stopped wearing glasses, you became super hot, popular, and were elected Class Treasurer! You have a HUGE crush on Shawn (the class president), but Shawn always seem to be dating someone else. Secretly, you deal study drugs to your classmates (they are actually magic potions brewed by one of your former bandmates).

MAGIC POTIONS

Back when you were in marching band, you used to complain to your bandmates about how hard it was to play the tuba while wearing glasses because they kept fogging up or falling off your face. One of your bandmates, Sloane, told you they could brew you a magic potion that would correct your vision. It took all spring, and half the summer for Sloane to brew it, but after you drank it, you could see without glasses!

At that moment, your entrepreneurial spirit kicked in, and you asked Sloane if they could make other potions, like study drugs. You have been selling study potions brewed by Sloane ever since. So, in addition to being Class Treasurer, you run a very successful potions business, with your top sellers being things like “Energy Surge,” “Crystal Clear Concentration,” “Capri Zen,“ and “Genius Jolt.”

SHAWN & ANDY

Ever since middle school, you have had a gigantic crush on Shawn, but they always seem to be dating someone you think is super dumb. Andy is no different. All Andy ever talks about is winning the Salmon Cup and doesn’t seem to understand that Shawn is destined for greatness. If you could figure out a way to break them up, you would!

One problem. Even if Shawn were single, your dad, a priest, has this weird rule that you cannot date anyone unless your twin, Carter, does. Carter is Andy’s best friend and is just as obsessed with sailing as Andy. So, Carter has zero interest in dating anyone! At this rate, you’ll never date Shawn!

NOTE: Bring little baggies of candy to deal out at the party. I recommend Gushers if you can find them.

BEFORE THE PARTY

Contact Carter. Tell Carter that you think they should stop being such a scrub and find someone they want to date. Tell Carter they spend too much time sailing and hanging out with Andy, who is also a total scrub. 

Contact Jamie. Jamie is a nerd that won the science fair for their project about “Y2K.” Ask them to stop talking to so many people about it. Tell Jamie, everyone needs to be focused on the Salmon Bay Homecoming Regatta and voting for Shawn to win couple of the year, not some stupid computer insect. 

If Andy contacts you, tell them to buzz off, and that you’ll do whatever you want. Also, you think Shawn is too good for them! 

If Sloane contacts you, tell them you think they are wrong and that they do not understand the logistics of marketing and distributing product. Highlight the fact that you are taking all the risk as the person dealing the potions. Tell Sloane, you will talk to them at Andy’s party but that you are not budging on the already agreed upon 50/50 split.
